What is the Base Harvest Extension?

The Base Harvest extension simulates logging and other forest management activities. This extension generally follows the behavior of the harvest module as described in Gustafson et al. (2000) although we extensive modification to improve flexibility and detail.

Requirements

To use Base Harvest, you need:

• The LANDIS-II model v7.0 installed on your computer.
• Example files (see below)

Version 5.2 can be downloaded here. To install it on your computer, launch the installer.

Example Files

LANDIS-II requires a global parameter file for your scenario, and separate parameter files for each extension.
