What is the Base Wind Extension?

Base Wind generates circular, elliptical, or linear wind events, dependent upon wind speed. Wind events are not sensitive to landscape continuity. Inputs are dependent upon ecoregion specific inputs.

Version 3.1 can be downloaded here. To install it on your computer, launch the installer.

Example Files

LANDIS-II requires a global parameter file for your scenario, and separate parameter files for each extension.
